KHARITONOVA The central idea of the article – the consideration of problems of development and the current state of high-purity substances chemistry (CHPS), including the evolution of the concept of high-purity substances in close connection with the progress of the fundamental theoretical chemistry. National color in the approach to the problem and its solution emerges in personal and institutional aspects. Otherwise, how unique connection of these “factors” as the scientific work of academics G.G.Devyatykh, M.F.Churbanov, E.M.Dianov, A.M.Prokhorov and their colleagues with their brilliantly organized centers of scientific work, can not be called. It recognized foreign scientists worldwide leadership of Russian researches. However, certainly important and interesting evaluation of their precursors, particularly the collective IREA (Institute of Chemical Reagents and high-purity substances) study in the initial phase pure reagents. Unfortunately, subsequent research team IREA less nice. By the way, as we recently learned, known spectroscopist professor A.V.Kessenih works on historic-physicochemical essay on the early period of research activity IREA. It seems, that along with this work, joint product will be of interest to anyone, interested in the history of CHPS.
