Research and design of an automated fire extinguishing system in an automobile tunnel |

The article explains the necessity of designing a single fire extinguishing system in an automobile tunnel, combining with itself the means of detection of fires and their elimination in place of outdated methods of counteraction. As initial data, scientific publications in foreign editions, on the subject domain in question, as well as statistical data published in free access were used. Development of information models was carried out in FDS (Fire Dynamic Simulator) and Smokeview software’s using the PyroSim user interface. The development of the layout of the user interface and the communication environment inside the HMI is performed in the integrated development environment of Visual Studio in the programming language C # and markup language of XAML visual objects. The prototype of the automated system proposed in this paper allows, in the future, to improve traffic safety in tunnel conditions due to a more effective method of eliminating emergencies.
