The methodical approach to the construction of an algebraic linear code to detect errors in the storage and transmission of information, which provides the high value of the probability of detection of single and double faults (Robn1 = 1, Robn2 > 0.9), while reducing
redundancy of information and instrumental.
The mathematical expression for the estimation of the parameters of the developed code. The estimation of costs for the construction of hardware encoding and decoding device. The comparative assessment of the reliability of operation, information and instrumental redundancy required for the construction of a
storage device controlled Hamming code based on the proposed methodological approach. The comparison found that the use of the proposed methodological approach provides:
• reduce hardware expenses on construction of encoders and decoders;
• reducing information redundancy in the two check digits;
• increasing the reliability of the memory operation on a larger portion of its operating time.
