Fuzzy set application for calculation aerodynamic parameters |

To calculate aircraft performance and maneuvering characteristics in the early stages of design crisp methods are used. The initial data are the specific values of initial parameters: the aerodynamic characteristics, and the level of technology, etc. In many cases, the initial data for the preliminary aerodynamic design are the results of expert assessment or the results of statistical processing. In this case, the use of traditional (crisp) approaches for calculation can give incorrect results from a practical point of view. For preliminary aerodynamic calculation using the parameters expert estimates, it is proposed to use the methods and algorithms of fuzzy set theory.
