TITOV In this paper discusses the mathematical model of interaction of random electromagnetic field with substance and explores the characteristics of electromagnetic waves that have passed through substance. The electromagnetic field is generated on the basis of amplitude modulation of a light wave by a Gaussian random process. There are presented the expressions to calculate the amplitude of the signal at the output of the radiation receiver.
