Based on Raman-Nath diffraction phaseinverter with separate load
A.R. GASANOV, R.A. GASANOV, S.R. VELIYEVA, S.M. GASANOVA

Some details on the inverters with a divided load are provides. The problem of identity assurance bipolar signals on split loads. A typical structure of acousto-optic modulator is considered. Mechanism of photoelastic effect generalized. The features of the Raman-Nath diffraction discusses in the context of forming two opposite-polarity signals. It is shown that when the frequency of the electrical signal at the input of acousto-optic modulator is changing symmetrical diffraction orders move in opposite directions. It is this feature of the Raman-Nath diffraction used to construct the phase inverter with a split load. A block diagram of acousto-optical phase inverter with a split load is presented. In this arrangement, the identity of different polarities signals on the divided loads ensures identity of the parameters and characteristics of the symmetric diffraction orders. Theoretical aspects of formation of bipolar signals at the outputs of the phase inverter are investigated. The expressions to calculate output signals are obtained. These expressions were used for the numerical analysis of the efficiency of the proposed scheme. The theoretical results are tested experimentally. Set out the scheme of the experimental setup. Experimental model of the inverter implemented in the acousto-optic modulator produced on the base of glassy photoelastic material type STF-4. In the experiments we used a laboratory model of a photodetector device, schematic diagram of which is also included in the article. Experimental results are given in the form of tables, graphs and waveforms. Clear correlations of the results of theoretical and experimental studies are shown.
Keywords: phaseinverter, laser, photodetector, diffraction, modulation, elastic wave, central frequency, graphic, oscillogram.
