SHELOMANOV Reliability indicators are the main characteristics of products with long lifetime. It is very high demands are made both the indicators of reliability of products and their performance durability and storability. The former include a frequently used indicator of how the failure rate and the associated mean operating time to failure, to the second − an indicator such as the average operating life of the product. Environmental conditions during storage of products may differ significantly from environmental conditions during its operation, so attempting to determine experimentally realizable operating life of products is organizationally difficult and requires a very considerable amount of time even in the case of accelerated test. The article briefly describes the approach to the assessment of indicators of reliability electrical radio products based on their operating data as part of the equipment, as well as possible approaches to operating life assessment products from the available data on the values of the mean time to failure and operating life of similar products in a certain sense. This assessment in some cases allows you to “reject” is certainly not suitable product or give the reasons for the adoption of measures to validate operating life using the longer and more expensive methods. The developed approach takes into account the relationship of indicators of reliability and operating life of products with their dependence on the same factors. It can be helpful in making decisions on the choice of components and expert evaluation of the associated risks for the products of electronic equipment with long lifetime.
