ISHKOV, G.A. SOLODIMOVA, A.I. TSYGANKOV Characteristics of position sensors based on wire potentiometers are largely determined by the technology of manufacturing the resistive element. On the technical basis of “Scientific Research Institute of electro-mechanical devices” work was carried out, aimed at the study of the factors influencing the process of winding the resistive element. The data obtained were given practical recommendations to improve the technology of potentiometers. In order to improve production technology potentiometers it developed a method of control of functional characteristics of the resistive element. Introduction of an intermediate stage of control using this technique reduced the marriage in the production of potentiometers from 50% to 20–30%. Thus, the use of modern equipment and methods of control has created potentiometers, its characteristics are not inferior to foreign analogues.
