Segmentation of two-level data transfer
networks in distributed information
and control systems |

The approach to the segmentation of two-level networks of sensors and actuators is based on the concept of “network” reliability. An
additive criterion is proposed that takes into account the length of the connections and measure the “network” reliability to determine the
order of connection gateways according to the master branch and bound method. A method for determining the optimal location gateway
on criterion “network” reliability is based on finding the intersection of two nodes paths in the connection tree. One suggested method is
placing locks at fixed locations for each segment subsets, providing the minimum length of the media gateways.
