SHUVAEVA, M.A. PELIVAN Today, there are many ways to protect confidential information from unauthorized access. One of the most common methods is password authentication. But because of its simplicity and widespread applicability, the cases of automated hacking method Brute Force or Brute Force. At the moment there are numerous ways that prevent successful password guessing brute force and making it impractical. The article describes methods of preventing Brute Force attacks, special attention is paid to an authentication method based on the graphical object type Captcha. The above types of Captcha tests, their difficulty to pass through automated means and method of using Captcha tests for stamina password authentication against brute force attacks.
