Algorithm of optimization
of a road-traffic safety control |

The paper studies the problem of organizing the control of road safety in some parts of the road network. The article contains a descriptive
model of control of road safety, which feature is the inclusion of the possibility of using both traditional methods of control (post road
patrol), and is widely implemented in recent electronic control methods (photo-radar complexes); and also takes into account the possibility
to combine these control methods. The parameters of the effectiveness of the control of road safety, taking into account the change in the
level of accidents on certain sections of the road network by using different methods of security control. Based on this formalization of the
problem of optimizing performance monitoring system and a mathematical model. Proposed and justified algorithm for selecting optimal
variant of placing controls, based on the use of the scheme “branch and bound”, developed ways to evaluate partial solutions, construction
and traversal of partial solutions. This algorithm allows to find any exact solution (with sufficient resources of time) or approximate.
