It is proposed as the system characteristics of the objective function of information processing in a computer system (CS) needs to use the procedures of information processing in a time share, but as a function of the characteristics of limitations – the impact of a temporary resource to measure the timeliness of information processing in the CS. Provides evidence of methodological provisions which are based on the author’s interpretation of the characteristics of the impact of malware threats and mechanisms of anti-virus protection of resident type. A possible representation of the timeliness of information processing in the CS under the above conditions. Settles a number of simplifications in the representation of the impact of malware threats.
