Development of the industry quality control system cable insulation by the method of partial discharges |

The aim of this work is increasing the reliability of quality control of cables and wires in industrial enterprises. In the article some quality
control systems of cable insulation production by the method of partial discharges are considered. From exist systems traditional system
with up transformer and system OWTS (Oscillating Wave Test System) are considered. The main problems of these systems are the superposition
of partial discharge pulses and inertia of sensors, amplifying and filtering components of the measuring system, which can distort
the results of the diagnostics at a sufficiently high repetition rate of partial discharges. Therefore, author developed the system in which the
reduction of negative effect is achieved by control pulse repetition frequency of partial discharges by changing the magnitude of exposure of
high voltage. There are description of the developed system, the algorithm of its work and comments for each stage of its work in the article.
