Control vacuum separation of titanium sponge in the PCS

The article gives a review of the known methods of controlling how long the vacuum separation of titanium sponge. The features of
process control devices for industrial separation. It is noted that control of vacuum separation for the sustainable vacuum and high temperature
exposure of a predetermined duration of the reaction mass in the apparatus reduces the separation performance and increases the energy
consumption of the process. The methods of controlling the length of the vacuum separation control system, providing direct and indirect
measurement of heat absorbed by the process of evaporation of impurities of magnesium and magnesium chloride of titanium sponge.
Methods differ in the way of obtaining and processing information about the evaporation of impurities. Based on the measurement of energy
consumption of the process, extracting information about the evaporation of impurities from the dynamics of temperature control separation,
the mathematical modeling of the thermal state of the machine separation, statistical processing of information about the energy consumption
of the process. Evaluate the effectiveness of these control methods vacuum separation. It is shown that the most efficient method of
control is based on the extraction of information about the evaporation of impurities from the dynamics of temperature control separation.
The description of the algorithm controls the duration of vacuum separation that implements this method. As a result of the algorithm shortened
and reduced energy consumption of the process of vacuum separation.
