Comparison of the effectiveness
of continuous Doppler lidar with
different emission wavelengths |

The article discusses the choice of parameters of the principal balance of the continuous component of the Doppler lidar to
provide the required level of building products in general. The analysis of the effectiveness of continuous Doppler lidar with
different emission wavelengths in different weather conditions. As a criterion for the effectiveness of accepted signal / noise
ratio, expressed in terms of the wavelength of radiation. Obtained dependences of attenuation and backscattering coefficients for
different sensing. General view presented depending on the combined chart. The data for runs at sea level and at different heights.
Based on the obtained results suggest the potential capacity to provide the required continuous Doppler lidar in the transition from
middle to near-infrared radiation by adjusting the power level of the radiation source and the sensitivity of the detector.
