SAVCHITS The article discusses an approach to the diagnosis of the technical state of the system nodes to control the opening of the wicket gate Kaplan turbine Volzsky hydroelectricity plant. The design of one of the most important parts of hydraulic unit – electrohydraulic actuator system to control the opening of the wicket gate consisting of a main valve and servomotor. The technique, which allows to detect deviations in the nodes diagnosed on the basis of mathematical models of these knots and to localize (diagnosis) failure of the statistical approach using Shewhart control charts. The diagnostic model of the main valve and servo motor, as well as diagnostic ratios derived from them. Showing the basic checklists of diagnostic ratios of the main valve and servo motor with no faults and when available.
