B MURODOVA Designed selective thermocatalytic alcohol sensor providing ex presscake determination of ethanol in a wide range of its concentration in the air exhaled by a person, and the process gases. In terms of a constructive representation sensor is a pair of sensing elements and the same resistors connected in bridges tovuyu scheme. Both sensing elements are located in the reaction chamber. The sensitive elements are platinum spiral baked alumina in the form of a small ball, which supports the catalyst. TKD selectivity is provided by using different composition and content of the catalysts and conditions of the definition. The catalyst measuring sensor is a mixture of oxides of manganese, copper and tin (80 MnO2 - 10 CuO - 10 SnO2), compensation element - a mixture of nickel oxide and chromium (70 NiO - 30 Cr2O3). The sensor output signal is independent of the location in space and angles on clones that can be attributed to develop a sensor (according to GOST - 13320 -82), independent of the type.
