The active power filter with a common DC link and a control system based on the relay control voltage |

The growth of non-linear loads among electricity consumers resulted in a higher harmonic components and deterioration of the
quality of electricity. For compensation of harmonic distortion in the system of power supply it is proposed to use active power
filter (APF) with control system on the basis of the relay of the current regulator and the common DC link between the inverter
and rectifier load. Shows the theoretical description of the operation APF. In Matlab 8.1 software environment model APFwith the
proposed control system and a common link, DC. From the results of computer simulation follows that the total level of harmonic
components in the current consumption does not exceed 3%. Load current of the same phase with the voltage of the network, i.e.
consumption load of reactive power from the electricity network is minimal. An experimental study of the system based control
relay of the current regulator and findings presented.
