Mathematical model of the gate
motor with three-phase AC excitation
from the rotor side |

The vector equations of transient modes of tate motor with three-phase AC excitation from the rotor side are obtained. On the
motor stator is a three-phase beam winding with controlled thyristor switch. Thyristor switches are controlled by signals from the
sensor. The semiconductor switches control law provides asynchronous or synchronous rotation of the motor rotor relative to the
stator magnetic field.
The equations of transient modes are presented as convenient for programming and computer calculation manner. The analytical
solutions for current and torque in the steady mode of operation of the machine in order to determine the working performances
are obtained.
The static and dynamic properties of machine give the possibility to use them as a controlled drive for the various operating
mechanisms.
