GALCHENKO S.K. RUBTSOV Development of complex ore open pit mining differs frequent and significant changes in mining and technical conditions of breaking. Traditional technology of drilling and blasting operations in these conditions have already exhausted their ability to adapt to changing conditions. The idea of using de-concentrated charges of equivalent energy opens up real opportunities for controlling the distribution of explosive energy in the array the expense of dedicated change of curvature of the fronts of energy transfer, moving in different directions. This allows to drastically reduce loss dissipative of energy in the rupturable volume and ensure thereby, improve its crushing technological. Theoretical studies, laboratory and natural experiments have allowed to reveal mechanisms of interaction of connivent charges and substantiate the general approaches to the selection of the optimal parameters of breaking. Industrial tests of the proposed energy management system of explosion showed that its application allows a 15–20% increase in efficiency and productivity of the process of breaking the transport and loading equipment in quarries.
