The main trend in the development of transmission systems and signal processing television nowadays is the transition to digital
communication systems. The length of the introduction of digital transmission techniques television signals due to a number of
significant advantages over analog, the main of which is the possibility of high-quality image transmission over long distances
due to regeneration, the simplified interface signaling systems television through the use of digital reformers standards, the possibility
of using common methods pulse code division, etc.
The most important of these requirements is to ensure the high quality of the transmitted television picture. An important role in
the solution of this problem is given methods and devices aperture distortion correction. Known methods of aperture correction
have a number of significant shortcomings that limit their applicability in real operating conditions. In this regard, increasing the
effectiveness of methods of aperture correction constantly received much attention. In this paper we analyzed the known methods
of aperture correction analog, digital, adaptive, digital identified the potential of these methods. There is made up classification
of methods aperture distortion of TV signal. The paper also identifies possible methods of hardware implementation of correctors
which is based on digital techniques to ensure greater accuracy and robustness of the correctors.
