Performance analysis of geoinformation system of quantitative estimation of forest fire danger

Geographical information system of a quantitative estimation of the forest fire danger caused by action of the focused sunlight
is considered in present paper. Various variants of realisation of geographical information systems are possible: web-oriented,
high-performance, local, mobile. Local GIS works, as a rule, on desktop-system under control of operational system Windows or
Unix. Present system is developed on the basis of program realisations of the problem-oriented algorithms in built in programming
language Python of specialised software ArcGIS.
Purpose of present paper is performance analysis of geoinformation system of a quantitative estimation of forest fire danger,
including, in comparison with expenses of manual unproductive work. Within the limits of the base scenario indicators of work
of geoinformation system in pure operational system when there are no other active programs are fixed. The instruction on start
of geoinformation system is developed. Following scenarios of functioning of geoinformation system on the personal computer
are presented: 1) Parallel work of geoinformation system and package MS Office; 2) Parallel work of geoinformation system
and the graphic editor; 3) Parallel work of geoinformation system and video editor or player; 4) Parallel work of geoinformation
system and archiver of files; 5) Parallel work of geoinformation system and an Internet browser; 6) Comparison of expenses of
manual unproductive work and a quantitative estimation of forest fire danger with use of the developed geoinformation system.
Performance analysis of geographical information system according to the forest fire danger caused by action of the focused sunlight
is carried out. It is executed comparisons of the obtained results of performance with expenses of manual skills according
to forest fire danger.
