A robotized control system for surface modificationof polymers by high frequency discharge plasma |

The structure of robotized control system for surface modification of polymer films by high frequency discharge plasma is proposed.
The system realizes a modification process in two stages different with power level and gas plasma formation, i.e. water vapor
saturated and air, the commutation functions are fulfilled at the moments when surface temperature of polymer film reaches its critical
value, the latter being calculated in real time. While modeling the process in high frequency discharge plasma a reactor with material
to be treated inside was considered as multilayer system «close electrode zone – discharge space – polymer film – discharge space –
close electrode zone». Due to application of robotized system the effect of aging of treated in discharge plasma films is sufficiently
weakened; the gain mechanism is associated with polymer film surface most favourable temperature that is provided in process stages.
