Vibration diagnostics of electrical submersible
using the apparatus of the continuous
wavelet transform |

The article presents a qualitative analysis of existing methods of vibration monitoring of electrical submersible equipment, describe
their advantages and disadvantages. Unit of the continuous wavelet transform was sort out as the most promising for use in diagnosing
problems. The main types of basic wavelets suitable for vibration analysis of electric submersible equipment were presented. The
basic types of mechanical defects in this type of equipment were described. We propose a method for increasing the accuracy and
quality of diagnostics submersible electrical equipment apparatus based on the use of continuous wavelet transform signals vibration
sensors. It is shown that each of the defects has its own topology wavelet vibration signal measured on energized equipment. Based
on the analysis of wavelet transforms scalegram received diagnostic features allowing to estimate the presence and severity of defects.
