Intelligent control system of burning
kiln electric drive on the basis
of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy algorithm

The application of the discrete fuzzy control system of burning kiln DC thyristor- motor drive is considered. The components of
the load torque of the electric drive are described and a graph of the power, received in the on-line mode, is shown. On the basis of a
system of differential equations, the mathematical model of the DC thyristor- motor drive is developed in the application Simulink. To
approximate non-linear functions Takagi – Sugeno fuzzy algorithm is used. Fuzzy controller has two inputs and one output variables.
For practical implementation of fuzzy controller Siemens software Fuzzy Control + + is used, which allows to create fuzzy control
system on the programmable logic controller Simatic S7-300/400. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control
scheme. Using the fuzzy speed controller will allow to stabilize the height of the bed of green pellets, will reduce the load on technological
fans and will reduce the content of ferric oxide FeO in fired pellets.
