Calibration of fiber-optical sensors by means of double-barrier photodetectors |

Problems of utilization of the double-barrier photodetectors in fiber-optical sensors calibration schemes directly in the measurement procedure are discussed. Calibration schemes that use wideband and two-wavelength are proposed. The model of components of fiber-optical sensor uncertainty is discussed. Using the double-barrier photodetector in the sensor calibration scheme allows to reduce sufficiently the measurement uncertainty of measuring instruments that use fiber-optical sensing elements.
