The engineering development process of optoelectronic commutator transmitting the information on communication channels is described and its control circuit is presented in this article. Investigations of mechanical data, processing and operational characteristics had been carried out; the resonance characteristic had been traced; the resonance frequency of commutator had been defined. All above listed has allowed simplifying commutator design, increasing its precision and operational reliability.
