Acceleration of Spectral Transformations
in Signal Simulation Algorithms |

The paper proposes approaches to accelerating computations in spectral algorithms for simulating discrete signals in non-harmonic basis
systems. The subject of the analysis is the components of the stage of tuning the simulation algorithms for the energy characteristics of the
signal: calculation of the harmonic spectrum and spectrum transformation. The infl uence of the factorizability of the Fourier kernel matrix on
the acceleration of the spectral transformation is considered. An assessment of the reduction in the computational complexity of the tuning
stage of the simulation algorithm is given using the example of basis systems of trigonometric functions and Walsh functions in the Paley
ordering. Recommendations for organizing calculations are formulated. A conclusion is made about extending the considered approaches to
the spectrum of multidimensional signals.
