A decision support system (DSS) is proposed to reduce the accident rate due to the “human factor” in industrial enterprises. The DSS selects the
technological process control mode using information about the technological process state and the labor effi ciency of a human operator. Based on
the results of the sys-tem analysis, the tasks that need to be solved to build a DSS are identifi ed. The classifi cation of the human operator’s functional
state (FS) is determined. An algorithm for determining the FS of the human operator based on the signals of his heart rate variability is developed. The
results of the identifi cation of a model for heart rate variability forecasting are presented. A model for human operator labor-effi ciency evaluation is
compiled. The DSS is considered in the structure of an automated industrial enterprise for the production of butadiene rubber. Simulation modeling of
the proposed DSS is carried out, the results of which established an increase in the reliability and emergency safety of the ergatic system when using
this DSS.
