Determination of the Imbalance Parameters
of the Solid-State Wave Gyroscope Resonator
by Applying External Vibration |

The article considers the possibility of determining the parameters of mass imbalance of a resonator of a solid-state wave gyroscope
(SWG) by applying external mechanical vibration to it and determining the parameters of the resulting wave pattern. Experimental data on
determining the parameters of mass imbalance of a metal SWG resonator are presented, demonstrating the advantages of this method, which
include high sensitivity and the possibility of directional application of vibration (angular or linear) along one of the axes, which signifi cantly
simplifi es the data processing procedure. The problems of technical implementation of this method are discussed.
