Three-Phase Rectifi ers With
Power Factor Correction

Over the past few decades, various topologies of three-phase rectifi ers with power factor correction have been proposed and considered in foreign
literature sources. However, they have not been adequately refl ected in domestic publications. The article discusses options for three-phase rectifi ers
with active power factor correction by introducing a third harmonic current into the phase currents of the network. The authors have developed
simulation models and presented the results of research in the MATLAB Simulink environment. The developed simulation models make it possible
to identify the features of operation and assess the impact on the network of three-phase rectifi ers with active power factor correction based on the
introduction of a third harmonic current into the phase of the network with the lowest absolute voltage value at a given time.
