The article discusses the development of the architecture of the decision support subsystem of a problem-oriented aviation information management
system. It is shown that the most promising and meeting the requirements is the decision support subsystem of a problem-oriented aviation information
management system based on a three-level data warehouse. The warehouse database model is based on a conceptual model of the subject area, which is
developed based on processing the results of a system analysis of processes and events taking place in the organization. In this case, the storage model includes
a certain set of information objects interconnected by associative relationships, which correspond to concepts (basic entities) occurring in the subject area and
are represented in the database by a number of interconnected tables.
A system for organizing the collection of information for a data warehouse is considered as a set of tools for creating and automatically executing, with
a given regularity, scenarios for replenishing and updating the database. At the same time, the regulations for loading new information from external sources
(divisions, third-party organizations) are formalized in the form of operational metadata. This system is a server application consisting of an interactive
subsystem for setting data storage update scripts and a resident subsystem for executing developed scripts. The proposed architecture based on a three-level
data warehouse is distinguished by a developed data mining system - this is a means of operational data processing that allows for decision support based on the
analysis of aggregated heterogeneous information in the form of cross-tabular reports, business graphics charts, geoinformation maps.
The developed information system is an integrated complex information system built on the basis of combining various technologies for accessing and
processing data, artifi cial intelligence, and client-server technologies.
