Approaches to Assessing
the Controllability of a Complex

The article presents approaches to assessing the controllability of complex information management systems. Classical approaches do not
allow us to fully determine the controllability of complex ICS due to the presence of a large number of heterogeneous linear and nonlinear
components and dependencies between them. Approaches to assessing the controllability of complex ICS based on matrices are considered.
Matrix transformation is carried out using a non-singular matrix and linearly independent vectors. In addition, the possibility of using a
characteristic polynomial to assess the controllability of a complex ICS is considered. The assumption about the possibility of reducing the
properties of complete controllability of complex systems to the complete controllability of a simple system is proven.
