KOVTUN The problems associated with assessing information security risks, incl. lack of effective methods for searching, systematizing and primary processing of initial data for formal methods used in the process of such assessment are considered. The IDEF0 methodology as an information collection system is proposed. For the purpose of practical implementation, the conceptual apparatus of this methodology has been fi nalized in the interests of the above mentioned formal methods, then the relational data model is used as a metamodel of the proposed solution.
