The State of Art of Aviation Onboard Intelligent Systems in the Russian Federation |

The state of art of avionics is characterized by the widespread implementation of intelligent systems and technologies. In this area, both widespread investigations and the systems and complexes design are carried out. Modern onboard intelligent systems are designed to navigation, aircraft flight control, avionics monitoring and control, crew decision support, etc. The widespread set of artificial intelligence models and methods are used in these systems. For example, there are production systems, optimization models, neural networks and machine learning, fuzzy logic and soft computing methods, etc. In this paper, the research and development in this field in Russian Federation are analyzed. The paper includes the review of their topics and analysis of the most popular models and methods.
