Study of the Characteristics of the Meter GAS Temperature get use Thermistors and Jet Generators

The article presents the results of a study of the parameters of the developed tungsten thermistor and the frequency response of the gas turbine engine temperature meter using the required number of them, from eight to twenty-four or more. Both design solutions for manufacturing a thermistor and circuit design of a temperature meter with their use as an element of the phasing chain of the measuring RC-generator are presented. Analytical expressions for calculating the output frequency of the meter for any number of thermistors are given. The proposed system of gas temperature measurement GTE based on the developed tungsten-rhenium thermistors is much easier than using thermocouples, allows you to measure the temperature up to 2300 °C, and the frequency nature of the output signal eliminates the influence of interference and resistance of communication lines on the measured parameter. The problem associated with low response time of the thermocouple, which measures only approximately bulk averaged temperature, which leads to excessive fuel consumption and reduction of resource GTE. The developed functional scheme of the high-speed gas temperature meter GTE with the use of jet generators, which allows to measure the true temperature, is presented. Stands on which tests were carried out, and also the results of researches confirming the high metrological device of measurement are presented. The developed system will also allow to study gas-dynamic processes in combustion chambers of newly developed gas turbine engines.
