Research of an Automatic System for Controlling the Humidity of Natural Gas by Methods of Fuzzy Logic |

Control and regulation of the quality parameters of natural gas transported through the main gas pipelines is one of the important tasks of the gas industry. Among these parameters, a special place is occupied by the humidity of the gas. Gas humidity is closely related to processes such as accumulation of liquids in pipelines and formation of hydrate plugs, which impair the performance and efficiency of the main gas pipelines. The article deals with the problem of monitoring the state of humidity of gas pipelines by fuzzy logic and fuzzy modeling. The structure of fuzzy automatic control system is proposed and its characteristics are investigated. As a working model, the basis of the humidity control system is the classical model of the Mamdani system. The work of the system is aimed at the implementation and integration into the dispatching system of main gas pipelines. The article is recommended for specialists in the field of automation of transportation of natural and petroleum associated gases through gas pipelines.
