Model and numerical method for estimating the error of computation in ergatic information systems based on the use of fuzzy mathematics methods

The implementation of calculations in ergatic information systems includes the actions of decision makers and the operations performed by the information and calculation subsystems of these systems (the actions and operations are hereinafter called modules). The operation of these systems can be under tight time constraints (e.g., in the case of special-purpose control systems). This circumstance requires the use of different versions of modules that differ in execution time and, consequently, the accuracy of the methods used. In real conditions, the operation of the considered information system can be carried out under conditions of possible error in the values of the original data. Due to these circumstances, the calculation results obtained by using this information system will have an error. The work is devoted to the development of a model and a numerical method for estimating the error of calculations. For this purpose, an approach based on the use of mathematical analysis methods is used as a counterpart, with the result that the parameters affecting the calculation error are determined. These parameters are presented in the form of fuzzy variables, which allows to obtain a model for estimating the error, based on the use of the apparatus of fuzzy mathematics. For the computer implementation of this model, a numerical method has been developed, which is based on the principle of discretization of the carrier of a fuzzy variable. The developed model and method may be used later to find the optimal composition variants modules for each cycle of operation ergatic information system.
