Features of work of modern positioning and navigation systems in closed territories |
T.I. KASATKINA, I.M. GOLEV, A.V. DUSHKIN, T.S. BURYAK
The analysis of modern navigation and positioning systems designed to determine the location of objects inside buildings, fully or partially closed premises and territories has been carried out. We consider the features of the systems using technology Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, based on lighting systems and magnetic positioning. The main characteristics and technical features of the systems are presented and compared with the magnetic positioning system. It is shown that to increase the accuracy of determining the coordinates of objects, improve noise immunity and reduce the influence of structural elements and interior space, it is advisable to use an active navigation system using artificial magnetic field sources. Such devices of navigation and positioning can be used to solve problems of monitoring and con-trolling the trajectories of movement of employees, equipment and cargo. Systems based on mag-netic positioning were studied and the possibility of building a magnetic positioning system based on a combination of active and passive sources of a magnetic field, as well as a combination of sources of a constant magnetic field, of natural or man-made origin, with an active source of an alternating magnetic field inside the building was shown.
Keywords: magnetic positioning, internal positioning and navigation system, BLE technology, accuracy of determining the coordinates of objects, Wi-Fi.
