EGEMBERDIEV In this article, traditional methods of diagnosis are examined, and their inherent shortcomings are revealed. It is shown that the use of expert systems makes it possible to increase the efficiency of conducting diagnostic procedures. The methodology for creating a diagnostic expert system is considered. A comparison is made between different ways of extracting and presenting expert knowledge in the knowledge base of the expert system.
