KARPYCHEV The article formulates the content of problems related to the investigation of mechanisms for responding to threats to information security in the environment of remote banking services (RB). The concept “concept” is analyzed with reference to such a phenomenon as an assessment of the effectiveness of response measures to threats to the security of electronic banking. The methodology of information protection against unauthorized access is grounded as a systemological basis of this concept. We consider its theoretical and applied orientation, as well as formulate a number of general provisions that allow to form its structure. Relationships between the categories “theory”, “concept” and “method” are established within the framework of the problem of assessing the effectiveness of response measures to threats to electronic banking security. The goals pursued by the concept and a list of optimization tasks specific to it are formulated. The qualitative dependence of the adequacy of the evaluation of the characteristics of the processes for ensuring the security of electronic banking of information from the nomenclature used to evaluate mathematical models is substantiated.
