The technology of automatic synthesis of geometric processor structures |

The problems of designing geometric processors as computational systems with pipeline architecture, oriented to solving a sufficiently wide range of tasks of computer graphics and control are considered. Geometric processors are built on the basis of functionally oriented geometric processing elements that implement the computational procedures of the CORDIC family and analytical geometry functions. Optimization problems of the choice of the processor structure for the implementation of periodic schedules for processing information
with a combination of processing cycles are applied to control algorithms for aircraft and computer graphics problems. The number of processor elements and interprocessor communications of the computer system, oriented to one of the types of parallelism, is minimized.
