PRIYMAK This paper is devoted to increase of reliability and accuracy of the measuring channels of reactor thermometry that are the main thermal control channels at NPP, which carrying out the information function of the in-сore control systems and safety systems of emergency and preventive protection of the reactor facility. The paper describes the method of remote thermocontact quality diagnostics “thermocouples – thermowell” and thereby detects hidden defects of the measuring channels in the continuous process. The essence of the method is to remove thermo-inertial characteristics of thermocouples from the results of their heating by short-time current pulses. For the practical implementation of this method, a prototype of the corresponding diagnostic equipment was developed and tested on the production and technical base of the scientific research institute “LUCH”.
