KHARISOVA, V.S. FETISOV The authors analyzed basic methods of determining the suspension particle size (distribution). The conclusion has been made that today the easiest way to determine the particle size is with the help of microscopic analysis. The concept system of express size determination of suspension particles is proposed, which is based on the video facilities and an artificial neural network with additional learning. The discussed system functioning algorithm has been considered and the results of experiments are shown. The proposed system has stream nephelometric analyzer based on a simple measurement chamber with probe light emission and the camera performance and supported by objective analysis tools high metrological reliability. Additional learning of an artificial neural network in the working process contributes to the gradual improvement of the system characteristics accuracy the and maintaining the reliability of particle size analysis.
