Use of RFID technology in automated control systems for traffic |

Increase in intensity of transport streams in the cities has led to decrease in speeds of transport, jams, accident rate growth, deterioration in ecological indicators. It is possible to influence noted negative consequences on the basis of use of the automated control systems for traffic (ACST). The components functioning in them are difficult, expensive or demand special conditions at the operation that reduces overall performance of all system in general. Especially it is actual at measurement of parameters of a transport stream and with fixing of the vehicle in a certain point of space. For these purposes it is admissible to use any of the existing ways, but the cheapest way is placement in each car couples of RFID tags. Introduction of RFID technology as ACST sensors will allow to regulate effectively a transport stream and to reveal breakers of rules of traffic, and, therefore, will lead to decrease in quantity of road accidents and other negative consequences of operation of the motor transport.
