Methods for identification of failures in the motion control system |

An effective solution to the problem of identification of failures is essential in the design of complex long-lived redundant systems.
Consider the problem of identification of failures using standard redundant measuring devices and controls, since this does not apply
additional equipment, increased, albeit slightly, weight and power consumption, as well as itself characterized by some failure probability. In the case of a redundant system control and measurement vectors inherent redundancy. This, on the one hand allows to reduce the estimation error of state vectors, and the other - provides redundancy, i.e. estimation of the state vector, of course, with some larger errors may be generated without any component of the vector control or measurements. Thus, failure of the element, i.e. excluding any of the components of the vector control or measurement is stored or handling system observability respectively.
The results of mathematical modeling of illustrative identification of failure and exclusion of data from the failed channel of GIVUS’s angular velocity estimation algorithm.
Considered algorithms of identification of failures in the motion control system may be used in a wide range of systems using redundant
actuating members and measuring devices.
