The article explains the number of methodological provisions for assessing the possibilities and determine the amount of time resource
use computer systems to implement procedures antivirus resident type. Are formal rules of formation of information protection, secure means
of anti-virus protection of this type. A variant of formalized representation of the processes of identification of the Software Engineering
antiviral agents resident type. The mathematical relationship linking the characteristics of the effectiveness of anti-virus protection, built
with funds from the resident type functional characteristics of information processing in computer systems. Substantiates the mathematical
model of information processing in a computer system for applications resident antivirus protection type, allows to determine the optimal
amount of time a computer system resources required for the realization of such assets.
