Correcting of non-linear characteristics of sensors by means of non-linear minimax approximation |
A.A. EGOROV, S.V. KRAHMALEV
The paper compares the nonlinear minimax approximation of rational functions with widespread polynomial approximation. As an example of a non-linear function approximation is taken to be characteristic of the thermocouple type J (GOST R8.585-2001).
It is shown that under the minimax criterion rational function gives the best results, both in terms of the criterion, and in terms of number of operations. It is noted that, until recently, the implementation of the corrective device microcontroller to perform the division operation spent considerably more computer time than the operations of addition / multiplication. However, in modern controllers division and multiplication operations in terms of the number of cycles in their execution become comparable.
Keywords: sensor correcting device, polynomial approximation, rational function, the minimax criterion, the computational complexity, controller.
