Development of the television camera CCD with improved photometric accuracy

Broad and diverse range of tasks in aerospace research and remote sensing (RS) leads to the need for accurate photometric analysis of television
systems, transmission and image processing, with high technical and operational characteristics. Since the mid-70s in such systems,
along with the vacuum electronic devices begin to successfully apply the new solid-state image converters – photosensitive charge-transfer
devices (FPPZ). Image converters on matrix FPPZ compared with television transmitting tubes have several advantages. They have smaller
dimensions, weight and power consumption. They lack the high-voltage supply voltage accumulated cathode focusing and deflection system.
These devices are characterized by long life, dynamic range, rigid geometry of the raster, resistance to external electric and magnetic
fields, ease of management, the possibility of image processing directly in the transmitter. In most cases, the practical application they are
required to transfer images with maximum sharpness, high resolution and sensitivity, as well as the possibility of exchange between these
characteristics.
Technological difficulties making FPPZ matrix elements with a very large expansion limit resolution converters. The length of the frequency
response of the number of elements of decomposition half the sampling frequency reduces the sharpness of the projected image due to the
significant overlap of the spectra generated during sampling. Unlike aperture characteristics transducers facing in different channels multimatrix
color camera, color irregularity is transmitted images.
In this paper we analyzed the television cameras on a charge coupled device (CCD), analyzed the defects of the matrix is proposed to compensate
for defects television measuring system for astrophysical research. Developed algorithm and compiled a functional diagram of the
measuring system, the image processing program implemented to improve the photometric accuracy of the analysis field pattern.
