Mathematical model of gare DC machine
with three-phase excitation winding on rotor

Based on the theory of electrical machines with controllable semiconductor switch are received vector (complex) of equations
averaged values, combined with the complex transformation of variables for gate machines with three-phase excitation from the rotor
side. On the stator of machine is controlled thyristor switch sensor. Three-phase excitation winding is connected in star and is powered
by an AC voltage.
From the vector equations are set up scalar equations of machine in the convenience form for solutions by computer in order to
research electromechanical transient modes.
At constant rotor rotational velocity the vector equations are solved by an operator method and are obtained the expressions
of instantaneous values of anchor and winding current. Due these obtained expressions for the steady state values is possible to
construct an operational characteristics of machine in motor, as well as in generator mode. The considered gate machine is possible
to successfully apply as an electromechanical transducer in the system of automated electric drive.
